Starting in April 2010 the European Research Council is funding a new and excellent MARUM project: the investigation of microbial liefe deep benath the sea floor. In the DARCLIFE video, which will soon be available in English, too, Prof. Kai-Uwe Hinrichs informs about about his scientific approach to learn more about the so-called deep biosphere.
