Conference

INVEST will take place at the University of Bremen Campus, September 23 through 25, 2009.

The principal structure of the conference:
Twelve plenary lectures will alternate with several Working Group and Conference Theme sessions. There will be three cycles of Working Group Sessions
1) Conference Theme 1 - 3 (days 1 and 2)
2) Conference Theme 4 - 5 (days 2 and 3)
3) Conference Theme 6 (day 3)
In each cycle, the discussions begin within small working groups (20-35 persons). Specific questions for these Working Groups are posted by the INVEST steering committee to help guide the discussions.
All Working Groups within a Conference Theme will meet next and the Working Group chairs will present the results of the discussions. The Conference Theme chairs will present the summary of all Working Group reports in a plenary session that ends the cylce.

What Working Group are you in?
The INVEST Steering Committee will assign individual registrants to the Working Groups. The questionnaire was designed to help us do so. Thanks to all who have filled out the questionnaire -- you have made our job easier!
Working Group assignments will be posted at the beginning of the conference.

Where do you need to go?
While all plenary sessions and lectures are in the large lecture hall, the working groups meet in seminar rooms in buildings in the vicinity of the lecture hall. The meeting rooms are specified in the program and the buildings can be found using the campus map and following the signs.
