Das Mikropaläontologische Referenzzentrum

To preserve and archive the legacy of DSDP and ODP, representative microfossil samples have been taken from the cores from a wide range of geographical areas and geological ages. Identical sets of these samples are available around the world for examination by scientists at the Micropaleontological Reference Centers (MRC's). A satellite MRC is located at the Bremen University Geosciences Dept., with complete sets of foraminifera and radiolarian samples.
